Thousand Islands Animal Hospital History
The Thousand Island Animal Hospital, P.C. has a rich animal hospital history, having been established in 1984 by two local veterinarians, Dr. Roger Gillett and Dr. Edwin Presley. Dr. Carla Bender joined the practice in 1988 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and her D.V.M. from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Although Drs. Presley and Gillett have retired, Dr. Bender and Dr. Kristin Kelsey, along with their dedicated team—Julie, Amber, Hannah, Ashley, Chelsea, Mary Beth, and Alaina—continue to provide exceptional pet health services and veterinary care in Alexandria Bay, ensuring your family pet receives the quality health care they deserve.
